Winter veggies are my new BFF – or at least BF until spring. This recipe for Swiss chard utilizes Mediterranean flavors to brighten up a cold day with red or white chard or any of the other lovely colorful varieties. But it is also wonderful with other greens: kale, spinach, mustard, beets, and turnips.

Autre Monde, Another World in Berwyn

A group of culinary alums from Chef Mantuano’s Spiaggia and Tuttaposto found themselves a tiny spot on Roosevelt Rd. in the newly claimed Berwyn and created Autre Monde, a tiny restaurant specializing in first-rate pan-Mediterranean fare. There’s real gold out there.
